The Roles We Play: Women’s Drama Therapy Workshop
“When you are completely identified with a role, you confuse a pattern of behavior with who you are, and you take yourself very seriously.” – Eckhart Tolle
Are you in a funk? Do you feel your life is stuck on autopilot? Is self-care a concept rather than a practice? Do you feel you’re struggling to keep up with the demands of the world rather than acting from a place of inspiration? Are you more concerned with pleasing others than with finding and staying on your own path?
The Roles We Play workshop is intentional time and space for women to explore our relationships to the many roles we play in our busy lives, how they serve us, and how they hold us back. We’ll probe into the messages we’ve internalized from outside sources (people, cultures, institutions…) and unsubscribe from the ones that are not helpful. We’ll reconnect to who we really are and intentionally develop the parts of ourselves we most need to overcome our stuck-ness and to thrive with strength, confidence, and fun!
Drama therapy is an embodied way to explore and process our inner worlds. No acting experience is required!
Contact Nanette to register. Fee is $250 for the series or special early bird price of $199 if you register before October.
