Teresa Bruzzo

Teresa Bruzzo

Teresa spent 20 years raising three children before becoming a therapist and she has intimate knowledge of the joys and sorrows that come from adoption and raising troubled teens. Her own journey helped her develop a deep reservoir of compassion and love for teens, parents, and families. In her own words: “One of my passions is working with parents who are struggling with the unique challenges of parenting a child with addictions or mental health challenges. And I know, from firsthand experience, if this is happening in your family, you are living with your own trauma and grief. I am ready to support you in your healing.”

Teresa also loves to work with couples to identify, and begin to change, patterns and relationship dynamics that are causing suffering. She works with teens and whole family systems to address issues, work through them, and build healthy relationships. “I believe that we all have moments of transformation in our lives, and these moments are often brought about by struggle or hardship. It’s hard to believe that positive things can emerge from difficult times. In fact, it’s often in those times when we experience our greatest growth. I am here to help you begin to transform both yourself and your relationships.”
