Fear, anxiety, shame, sadness, anger are all a natural part of being human. The way we respond to these feelings is what matters. Our responses define whether we get stuck in a rut, or find our way out. For many of us our instinct is to ignore, or compartmentalize our difficult feelings in the hopes that they disappear. Sadly, these feelings don't go away and sometimes they can snowball into each other until we're overwhelmed. This can feel like we're drowning, or burnt out, or just plain old exhausted. Congratulations on taking the first step to feeling better. It takes guts, and courage. During our sessions I hope to create an open space for us to explore what's going on for you, both good and bad, so that we can bring some light and space into issues that have felt dark and suffocating.

I guide my practice with a warm open heart. I use a multicultural, trauma informed approach where we co create a non judgmental space that allows you to feel seen and cared for. Within the safety of our relationship we will explore feelings and experiences, illuminating forgotten parts and diving deeper into your authentic self. I have no hidden agendas and am committed to meeting you where you are and supporting your process. I help clients through inquiry of the present moment with topics such as: life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief and trauma tailoring my approach to your unique individual needs.

I work with children, teens, and adults of all genders, and sexual orientations. This is a LGBTQ+ friendly space. While I strongly believe in talk therapy, I know it's not for everyone. I also use play therapy, art therapy, and music therapy techniques during sessions. I specialize is PTSD, anxiety, depression, intergenerational trauma, immigration and migration issues, grief, life transitions, racial identity formation, and women's issues.

I am delighted to offer a free introduction call to talk about your therapeutic goals and get a sense of what being in contact with each other is like. If that resonates with you, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to connecting!
