As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Pia invites those who are ridden with anxiety, feelings of depression, feeling stuck, issues revolving around grief & loss, those struggling with day to day life to come strum their heartstrings. Individual, family, group and couples therapy clients are met with a catered plan that will provide the safety one needs to process the moment. Pia has worked in the school setting (pre-school to high school) and continues to provide age specific assistance/psycho education to the children and their parents. Pia has been in Private Practice for about 7 years now and has over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy.
Prior to her life as a psychotherapist, Pia was a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in San Francisco and also served as an Court Appointed Educational Surrogate for the CASA clients. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Criminal Justice and minor in Political Science. Still seeking for what fills her heart, Pia graduated from Notre Dame de Namur University with a Masters in Clinical Psychology/Marital Family Therapy. She believes she has found her calling as a therapist, who meets the clients where they are, in the moment, and helps create their life soundtrack.
