Therapist
Marianna Klebanov
I work people of all ages, including children, teens, and adults, with a range of needs including adjustment to life transitions, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, substance abuse disorders, other addictive behaviors, relationship problems, career difficulties, and career exploration. My therapeutic approach is integrative but depth-focused, non-directive, and client-centered. I believe that empathy and a fundamental understanding of our common humanity are important to the therapeutic relationship and thus to my clients’ healing. I enjoy helping clients feel empowered and helping them free themselves from their life struggles.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics, a Juris Doctor degree, and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology. I have been an attorney working in the fields of child welfare, mental health, and family and community violence for a number of years. I have also co-authored a psychology textbook on the subject of parenting and its impact on human behavior and experience.
