Kerri is an AMFT/APCC who earned her Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology degree at Notre Dame de Namur University. Her journey in the field of mental health began at a young age with a strong desire to work with others and build healthy relationships. She views therapy as a unique opportunity to work towards self-discovery and is privileged to be a part of every client’s journey.
Kerri has 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in treatment facilities, group homes, elementary schools, home-based environments and wraparound services. She has experience working with clients with a variety of presenting issues, and has a particular interest in working with clients who have experienced trauma, grief and bereavement, depression, anxiety, and difficulty managing personal, relational, and/or professional stress. She utilizes a strengths-based approach by focusing on interpersonal relationships while incorporating mindfulness and culturally competent techniques in order to improve their wellbeing and to restore connection.
By meeting her clients with an empathic, accepting, and compassionate manner, she allows the therapeutic relationship to build and the client’s unique narrative to unfold. Her eclectic style allows the client and therapist to determine the most effective approach to therapy, developing personalized and attainable goals in order to enhance the quality of their life.
She has a passion for travel, fitness, diverse foods, music, movies and reading.
