Trainee
Kathryn Palza
Kathryn is an MFT/LPCC trainee finishing a Master's of Science in Clinical Psychology at Notre Dame de Namur University. Through her studies and volunteer work she has discovered a deep appreciation for the ways in which we heal, love, and explore the best versions of ourselves. She believes that therapy is a deeply personal journey and feels honored and humbled to connect with clients.
Believing that therapy is truly a gift to oneself, Kathryn feels it is important to practice using various modalities and a psychodynamic approach focused on mind and body. She provides nurturing guidance to clients struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, relationships, and self discovery. Currently, she is a school counselor at an elementary school and sees adult clients in her private practice. Her population of interest is working with couples, especially couples from diverse backgrounds, young adults, and adults.
In her personal time, she loves to travel, dine, read, practice yoga, watch movies, and be outdoors. Above all else, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and Bernese Mountain dog, Lola.
