Jenisa Thompson
As a Bay Area native, Jenisa is well attuned to the unique needs of local populations. She is experienced with grief, trauma, adoption, school-based issues, LGBT, anxiety, and depression. Jenisa has worked extensively with children and adolescents in and out of the school environment, as well as with individuals, couples and families in bridging the communication gaps that cause stress in relationships. In addition, she is comfortable and skilled working with issues around anxiety and depression.
Jenisa is a strong advocate in helping other’s help themselves, and believes that finding an element inner peace can lead to healing in all areas of a person’s life. She has a heart for helping others and believes that everyone has the power to overcome life’s challenges.
When not on the clock, Jenisa enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her cats. She enjoys staying active, and soaking in culture through local theater productions and museum or art exhibits.
