Therapist
Jamie Holden
For the past 25 years, Jamie has worked closely with adults, teens, young families and couples. She has training and experience in a variety of therapeutic techniques, some of which range from Psychotherapy, Solution-Focused Therapy to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). A few of her therapeutic goals are to provide an unbiased, safe environment for clients to process hardship, to discover a healthy acceptance of past life experiences, and to assist in developing decision-making patterns that strengthen self-awareness and relationships.
Be it wrestling with relationships, anxiety, depression and/or unresolved trauma Jamie feels it important to keep in mind that every individual and relationship is unique and has value. When it is realized that the decisions being made or the everyday patterns in a relationship, at school or on the job are no longer working, Jamie believes a serious commitment to therapy can constructively influence one toward healthy change.
Along with her time spent as a therapist, Jamie teaches Parent Education to various schools and organizations in the surrounding communities.
Jamie has been married for 35 years and has three adult children. She enjoys long walks, cooking, reading and yoga.
