THERAPIST

Gary Lamm, AMFT, is an Associate Marriage Family Therapist, who grew right here in the peninsula and proudly graduated from San Francisco State University. He completed his Masters, Culminating Experience Project at SF State on (non-directive) Child Centered Play Therapy in a School Based setting. Gary has worked with young people, from toddlers to teens as a school based therapist and registered behavioral technician (RBT) at various settings in San Mateo County. Currently, Gary is primarily working as a school based mental health therapist. He also has experience working seniors and special needs populations, including the Deaf and hard of hearing community and people with autism. In the future, Gary hopes to provide mental health services to the elderly and veterans.

Gary is a super big 49ers, Giants, Warriors and local independent wrestling fan. His mission at One Life Counseling Services is to make a genuine, positive impact on the San Mateo County community and beyond by respectfully, joyfully, proficiently and ethically meeting the needs of our friends, family and neighbors struggling with emotional and mental health challenges or just need a therapist to help them through some rough times. Gary sincerely hopes his passion, compassion, enthusiasm, patience and spirit of fun, as well as his clinical skills and community advocacy, can bring great joy and benefit those who reach out to One Life Counseling Center.
