Christina is fully bilingual/bi-cultural English-Spanish (Hablo Español). She enjoys working with people of all ages and she is culturally sensitive, in that she is thoughtful of each individual’s story and diversity components. Christina believes we are all unique individuals, therefore finding the right approach to fit particular needs is important in treatment. Her work is guided by respect and empathy, while influenced by a multi-cultural background. she uses a strength-based approach to understand individual resiliency components, and enjoy developing a collaborative and appropriate treatment plan.
As a clinician, she is psycho-dynamically informed providing relationship-based therapy and she has knowledge and training applying diverse evidence based modalities such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Child-Parent Psychotherapy providing individual and dyadic/family therapy.
