Welcome!
I believe that we all need a space to be ourselves, without judgement, prejudice, shame or guilt. We cannot do this life alone, we all need support and "our person". My goal is to create a safe place to be able to process, reflect, and work through the difficult times and spaces of our lives.
I was born in Kitwe, Zambia (Africa) and was raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. My family and I immigrated to California twenty five years ago. I have been married for 43 years and have three adult daughters, two son in laws and two beautiful grandchildren.
I have my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur University and previously graduated with a B.A. in Psychology at San Francisco State University. I have also completed Phase 1 Brainspotting. I volunteered at Rape Trauma Services for a year and a half and have a heart for working with people who have experienced trauma and loss, these often go hand in hand. My goal would be to give you that safe space, to provide you with the support and tools to find your own form of peace and courage as you move forward into the next chapter of your life.
