Being human can be a very complicated experience.
Sometimes it seems that in a perfect world, we would be able to avoid the problems and circumstances that hold us back. In a perfect world, we wouldn’t have to deal with big feelings that make us sad, scared, confused, and anxious. If you’re researching therapy, I probably don’t need to tell you that we don’t live in a perfect world. You’re probably here looking for some support because things are not perfect at the moment.
The good news is, imperfection - in the form of trauma, grief, anxiety, depression or something else - can be incredibly powerful. Imperfection provides us with the opportunity to grow and to know ourselves and others in a deeper, more meaningful way. Imperfection can be the fuel for becoming stronger and it can reveal a path toward the life we truly want to live. This is true whether you’re feeling misunderstood and lonely in your relationships with others, or stuck and overwhelmed in your individual experience. As your therapist, my goal is to help you harness the potential of life’s imperfections and turn them into something transformative for you.
My approach to therapy is heart-centered, humanistic, and relational. I work with individuals, couples and families of all ages, in all stages of life. I look forward to working with you.
