THERAPIST

Hello, I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor at One Life who graduated from San Jose State University in 2023. I completed my Masters in Counseling and Guidance and in the Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor pathway. I have two years of experience as a trainee on academic, socio-emotional, and college career counseling. As a trainee, I have worked with K-12 students in all three areas of counseling and diverse populations. Before becoming a trainee, I have always worked with the community in the area of education as a volunteer and it is one of the reasons I wanted to be part of One Life. I want to make a positive impact in the local communities in addition to working with students and families in the school based setting.

I have experience working with students on anxiety, grief, trauma and emotional regulation and the clinical frameworks that I use are Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Art therapy.

In my free time, I love reading, going for walks, spending time with friends and family, and listening to podcasts.
